Hi peeps! Today's cards are just for fun...no challenges, nothing specific, just playing around with some new and not-as-new goodies! This first one is a CASE from the latest Sale-a-bration little catalog, on page 7. I used different colors for my florals from Bloom and Grow and used a different sentiment, but I mostly wanted to highlight this pretty SAB vellum! A lot of my club girls ordered this as their SAB reward on Monday!! I stamped stamped the image in Highland Heather and used ink and an aquapainter to color it in:
I just love Highland Heather and Mint Macaron together! The next one uses Free as a Bird with some Bird Ballad DSP; I watercolored this little guy as well, fussy-cut him out and put him on a Crumb Cake card with a mat of Early Espresso; the sentiment is from the same set!
I just love this DSP...I don't think I've used this particular pattern too much, but it just makes me happy...all those little birdie foot prints!
Enjoy your day and be blessed! Be sure to come back tomorrow for a new Inspired By challenge!

I love both your cards. I had the birdy DSP out yesterday and saw that yellow but didn't even realize it was bird footprints. What a quick, easy and pretty card. CASEing! I, too, love the purple and mint macaron together.
Sweet cards! I am thinking I should have gotten that vellum! Beautiful in purple!
Very nice cards, Leanne! Thanks for sharing your creativity with us!
LeAnne, they are both just darling... but I have to say, I love that tweet little DSP you've used with the bird - well, it's a bird! I haven't met one I didn't love!

ps We spotted 10 Bald Eagles on the quickly melting ice on Spring Lake last Sunday!
Just love the border of delicate flowers along the bottom of the vellum LeAnne and like you, I love the colour combination :) Can I ask how you've attached the vellum to your card base without the glue showing? The second card is gorgeous too. The bird is so lovely and I didn't realise the pattern on the paper was bird footprints either - and I love it even more now! Vicky x
I like the soft feminine look of the first and the bright happy look of the second! Two wonderful cards LeAnne!
