CAS Kind of Day

Hey there, peeps!  It was a clean-and-simple kind of day yesterday!  I made two cards for two challenges!  Both are get well/thinking of you cards; the first features the FMS sketch:

I pulled out some scraps again from my Bo Bunny Felicity papers, along with a scrap of Blushing Bride, to create this card for a friend who is just home from a stroke rehab facility:

I used a Very Vanilla base, then cut out a few hearts with various dies and clustered them together.  I added a diecut Hero Arts sentiment, stamped in Pretty Peacock:

The next one is a masculine one for a guy in our church about to have some surgery; this Lawn Fawn plaid was a quick, easy background for my CTMH bandaid and sentiment from their Get Well Soon set!  So cute!  It's for the Krafty Chicks Clean and Simple challenge:

You can't get much easier than this!

So Cassidy finished her blanket...two-tone blue!  She's quite proud of it!

Thanks for popping in today!  Hope all is well in your part of the world!  If you have any questions on anything I used to make these cards, just give me a shout....I am feeling too lazy to make up my menu, LOL!  And if you are feeling overwhelmed about what's going on in the world today, I encourage you to read this devotional from Proverbs 31 Woman:  God's Goodness Isn't Cancelled.

Enjoy your day and be blessed!

Cassidy's blanket is beautiful...fantastic creation...love the colors and blue is not one of my favorites, although it was as a child. Thank you sharing the link to such a wonderful devotion. I shared it on Facebook and I'm sure I'll get some flack from my non-believing friends but prayerfully it will touch something in their hearts and minds. I love your heart card. It will bring cheer to the person coming out of stroke rehab. The surgery one is cute with the little band aid. Have a blessed weekend and thank you for being you!

You've inspired me to dig out the little jar of pre-cut hearts I've had for eons and create some cards with them! Love the great sketch design on the first card, and loving that pretty plaid with the cute bandage and sentiment! Fun cards! Cassidy did a fabulous job on her blanket, and I'm sure you're all very proud of her! It's so pretty!

The cards are great! I need to make sympathy and get well cards but can't seem to get ideas to come. The devotional you suggested at the end of your post was perfect for this troubling time. I totally agree with her that God is watching over us and wants us to find joy in our days. It has been a wonderful to have more time right now to devote to studies of His word.
Stay safe and healthy. Lots of love and hugs to you all. Love the crocheting Cassidy!
