SIP116 Clean and Simple Fall

Hi everyone!  It's Tuesday and that means Stamp Ink Paper time!  We have an appropriate clean-and-simple challenge today--fall!

Image may contain: nature

I have a gazillion fall stamps, it's my next favorite season to stamp after Christmas!  Since the prompt showed a leaf, I thought I would use a retired SU stamp called Magnificent Maple, along with some autumn-hued scrapbook papers:

For the front, I mounted a piece of plaid paper from Echo Park's Fall Is In The Air 6x6 pad on an Old Olive card, and diecut it with a stitched circle die from Lil'Inker.  For the inside, I started by inking the leaf first in Versamark ink, then in Chocolate Chip, stamping it on white cardstock and heat embossing it with clear embossing powder.  I colored it in with a damp aquapainter and reinkers, then fussy-cut it out:

I mounted it on a piece of paper from Photoplay's Autumn Day 6x6 pad and adhered it to the inside with a dimensional:

Finally, the sentiment from PTI's Wreath for All Seasons was stamped in the lower right with Chocolate Chip and Cajun Craze ink.  The design is simple but the papers add a lot of interest! I really wanted to add some more doodads, but I tried to keep it clean and simple!

I hope you'll check out what the designers did....their creativity will amaze you! Check them out at the SIP blog!

Here's a little view of the gazebo in Lewes where Wayne and Dana's wedding took place; this was the afternoon before, when we had rehearsal; our minister was there waiting for us!  The photos just don't do the flowers justice....they were lush and beautiful!  I only wish I had taken more pictures!

Wayne's little nephew took it upon himself to pluck some of the flowers to give to Cassidy (in the middle of the ceremony!) to put in her bouquet...what a little gentleman!

She adores this little guy, as well as his baby brother!

Thanks for popping in today--enjoy the day and be blessed!

Fun Fall card. I really like the way you have the leaf popped up and showing through the circle.
