Okay, while I am STILL waiting for my SU stuff to come in, I am STILL making cards with Newsprint DP because that’s the only current SU DP I have….I didn’t realize how dependent I am on designer paper!!! Oh dear. Anyway, I don’t have anything challenge-related today to share, just a card I made for a special person (or two):
I took the opportunity to do a little pleated ribbon thingy after reading Ann Schach’s blog post here. So fun, although my heart was pounding at the thought of all the glue dots I was using…the Scottish in me, I guess….but we KNOW we can buy more, right?! Silly me! Here’s a close up of the ribbon, which is layered on top of a Cherry Cobbler mat which was wheeled with the Friendly Words jumbo wheel:
The mat was also punched with the Scallop Trim punch; the fan image is from Puns from the Past. My order will arrive tomorrow so I can show you something NEW!
Remember that TONIGHT at the stroke of midnight, well, technically, 11:59, the Color Throwdown 100th Challenge celebration will end, as will all the other giveaways! So if you haven’t commented or participated, there is still a little time! Don’t forget to make sure you include your email address if you comment on mine here so you can be contacted. The winners will all be announced on the CTD blog at a future date….I’ll keep you posted!

Cute image and I like the newsprint dp.
Well, I'm not sure if I have any Scottish in me, but I feel the same way about all those glue dots! Fun card! Clear your calendar and have fun with your goodies tomorrow!
Your image compliments the DP perfectly! Good job on the ribbon pleating (I must try this...)
Oh my I am so lucky to know this card first hand. It is beautiful. I love the fan mail part that is so clever.
Thank you so much for my beautiful card. I love it.
Well... I'd say the glue dots were worth spending on this fabulous card! I do hope you get to have some fun with your new goodies... I know what you mean about the DSP - the only thing I had was Greenhouse Gala :-)
Hugs
Jaydee
