PP784 Challenge from Jaydee

Happy Sunday, peeps! Time for a new challenge from the Players, and Jaydee is our hostess this week with a wonderful theme!  Here we go:

This should be an easy one, right?!  I have had this gingham border floating around on my desk for weeks, left over from another project, so I decided to put it to use!  I needed a birthday card for a young woman at church who sings with Dana in our ensemble, but she is also an accomplished baker!  She made some tiramisu to share at ensemble practice, and Dana, knowing that tiramisu is my FAVORITE dessert, actually shared some with me! YUM!  So this card is for her:

I know that baking isn't necessarily an all-feminine theme, but it is for me today!  These images are all from Lawn Fawn's Baked with Love, stamped in black, diecut and colored with Blends or Copics:

The sentiment is from Our Daily Bread Designs' Mini Tag Sentiments, and I also used the new SU Product of the Month Eyelet Blooms die, but instead of diecutting it, I dry embossed it for a background!  Pretty  Here's the inside of the card:

I hope she likes it! And I hope you like our theme well enough to play along with us this week!  Check out what the other designers created at the Paper Players blog and come share yours with us too!  Thanks for visiting today!  Enjoy it and be blessed!

This is adorable, LeAnne! I am a baker and I have two other friends who bake a lot as well so I think this is a perfectly feminine card. Gingham patterns always make me think of tablecloths or picnics : ) Super cute take on the theme!

This is such a perfect card for a baker LeAnne - I love all of the fun elements and the gingham border reminds me of a kitchen apron. The sparkly glimmer heart is the perfect feminine finishing touch. Gorgeous!

LeAnne, I can see why that gingham panel you had lying around inspired you to create this fabulous card. It's perfect for a baker. Oh, and I bet that tiramisu was delicious! I love the placement of the die-cut elements and you colored them perfectly. That embossed background reminds me of frosting! Love it.
