Happy Sunday, and happy Mother's Day to all you moms out there! Claire is our hostess this week at the Paper Players with a marvelous color palette for us to play with:
I usually try to think outside the box with color challenges, but this week I just had to go floral! I haven't used the Layers of Beauty bundle for a while and these seemed like lovely colors for it:
I diecut, stamped and colored these beautiful roses with the challenge colors, then added a bit of a Coastal Cabana wash in between the images where there was a lot of white space. I did that so that it would blend a wee bit better with the fun diecut background paper using some Coastal Cabana DSP and the Scalloped Contour dies:
I also added an embossed mat in the background as well as a sentiment tag. The sentiment is from Paeprtrey ink on a Tailor Made Tag die. I think these purple roses are just beautiful!
