Happy Sunday, everyone! Time for a new Paper Players challenge, and the talented Joanne is our hostess with a seasonal color challenge for us:
Isn't that a lovely prompt? One of the cards we made with the retirement ladies used a sweet little pumpkin image from Colorado Craft, so I decided to use that for my card, along with a couple of my favorite fall embossing folders! Here we go:
I used the sketch from FMS:
My embossed panels of Crumb Cake and Pecan Pie were sponged with Pecan Pie ink and embellished with a Basic Beige ribbon. The Basic Beige tag was embossed with a Fall Leaf Background embossing folder, then I added my Pumpkin Pie stamped and diecut image on top. I added an orange glimmer bow and some orange sequins to jazz it up a bit:
I mounted everything on a Cajun Craze card base and stamped a sentiment from Thankful Forest Friends on the inside:
Orange is one of my favorite colors, so this challenge was right up my alley! I hope you'll play along with our fallish colors---and even if you don't choose a fall theme, I am sure you can come up with a creative alternative! Share it with us at the Players and you may be our Headliner!

A perfect fall card, LeAnne! I love the embossed background. This folder brings up so many of the iconic words associated with the season. Gorgeous shading from top to bottom! This is such a sweet pumpkin, too!
Love the inked embossed panel LeAnne - it really makes the bright orange pumpkin pop! This card is a celebration of everything good about the season!
This card is so warm and inviting - I think it's all the textures from the embossing as well as the colours. Love those folders too - word folders are great.
