AHSC597 Grateful

Happy Tuesday, peeps! Happy October!   Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge has a new challenge up for you and I actually made two cards with it, each has a fall vibe but different themes!  First, here's the sketch:

My first card has a Thanksgiving theme:

Although it's a challenge to see here, the Pretty Pumpkin stamp is gold-embossed, and I diecut and punched some foliage and leaves from gold foil to tuck behind.  The Very Vanilla panel was one I had in my stash, and it was already embossed with the Leaf Fall embossing folder; I backed it with a mat of Crumb Cake to coordinate with the Come to the Harvest Specialty DSP:

I fussy-cut a sentiment from Iconic Imagery and mounted it on a Crumb Cake banner and added some gold sequins.  I stamped a sentiment and some leaves from the same Pretty Pumpkin set on the inside:

My second card is a Halloween one; it uses an image from Rubber Cottage called Jack-o-Lantern, and some papers gifted to me by my friend Teri:

My Jack was stamped on Tangerine Tango cardstock, then shaded and fussy-cut.  I stamped the image again on a circle of Naturals Ivory cardstock, then colored in the straw with a marker.  Sentiment is from My Creative Time. I added a few black glimmer stars and a little Linen thread bow:

This is such a fun sketch...I love to mix and match layers and this is a perfect one for that!  Check out what the DT created over at the Atlantic Hearts Sketch Challenge blog tomorrow, October 2, but you can enter now!

Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth.  Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs.  Know that the Lord is God.  It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.  Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name.  For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations. Psalm 100

TWO pumpkins! Each one has something to love about it - but that spooky Jack speaks to me... or should I say 'shrieks' to me? So fun, LeAnne!

Both cards are awesome! The Thanksgiving card is my favorite with all the gold embossing/gold foil paper! The sentiments inside & out fit the bill. And of course, love that DSP! The pumpkin on your Halloween card is cool but has that spooky feel to him. Great choice of paper on this one as well! Super fun design!
