Happy Saturday, peeps! Hope you have something fun planned this weekend! I have one last Valentine card to show you; it uses some scraps of True Love left over from another project. I hated to toss them so I arranged them in a neat little pattern, backed them with a couple of layers and here's what I came up with:
My card base is Blushing Bride, and I embossed it with the Pinewood Planks embossing folder, then "whitewashed" it with some watered-down white craft ink and an aquapainter. I embossed the sentiment from Lots of Heart on a Basic Black banner, then layered it over my main image. If you look very closely at the Blushing Bride DSP layer, you can see a boo-boo that I made:
Yep, I adhered it so the little words are upside down....duh! Oh well, they're so small, maybe the recipient won't even notice!!! Anyway, I added a little diecut heart and some twine, and it's ready to go for the big day tomorrow! Be sure to come back tomorrow for the newest Paper Players challenge too! Thanks for visiting -- enjoy your day and be blessed!

This is adorable....I love pink and black! And the whitewash is such a great look!
Gorgeous! I love everything about it. How did Valentine's Day get here so fast? Wasn't it just New Year's Day???
Adorable! I cannot see a thing wrong with this sweet Valentine!

I love this combination of pink and black, LeAnne! Whitewashing the background was a brilliant idea! I would probably never noticed the background paper.
Pink and black is such a pretty combination. Even upside-down.
Love your use of those snippets, this is delightful! Shhh, don't tell the recipient and they won't notice ;)
I just love this - the soft pink with the black and white is so pretty and such a great way to use up scraps too.
