TCC148 Sweet Valentine

Happy Wednesday, peeps!  Time for a yummy new Card Concept challenge!  Look at this delicious prompt Julie has for us this week:

I was inspired by those incredible-looking cupcakes with the raspberry and chocolate doodads on top!  Yowza!!  So here we go with my Clean and Layered card:

I began with the sketch from Hand Stamped Sentiments:

And I pulled out my favorite cupcake set, Papertrey's Cupcake Collection, and stamped it in hues of pink and brown:

The raspberry is from SU's SAB Berry Blessings, and the leaves are from Lovely You.  I created my own  brown glimmer paper with a wee piece of adhesive sheet and some Martha Stewart glitter, then punched out my "chocolate" heart embellishment to pop on top!  The sentiment, stamped in Garden Green, matches the plaid paper from the SAB Berry Delightful DSP

To fulfill the sketch, I added a few more glimmer hearts and a sprinkling of sequins.  My papers are from Carta Bella and Graphic 45, and I used a Reverse Confetti die to create the scallop border!  I haven't decided whether this will be a sweet birthday card or a Valentine's could fit the bill for either one!

So now I hope you'll pop over to the Card Concept blog and see what gorgeous confections the other designers created...and then share yours with us too!  Just be sure to tell us what style your card can find all the styles and their descriptions on the blog!  Thanks so much for visiting me today!  Enjoy your day and be blessed!

The project continues:

I love how she's created her palette!!  And I think Mommy is having as much fun as she is!

Enjoy your day and be blessed!
