Hello stampers! Thursday brings us a new Inspired By challenge....look at this sweet image and optional sketch!
I think I must be the only stamper in the world who doesn't own a teacup stamp or die...well, I own one little one, but it wasn't going to work with the bird that I wanted! I remembered getting a gift of these pretty papers from my friend Mary Rose, and lo and behold, there was a tea container....no teacups, but I thought I could make this work! So here we go:
I don't remember the name of this SU DSP, sorry, but I thought the colors and patterns replicated the designs on the teacup in the inspiration. I cut out the tea container and popped it up on a quilt pattern DSP, matted with Bashful Blue cardstock. My bird is from the retired Birds and Blooms die; it was cut from some watercolor paper and colored with inks and markers:
I made a couple little banners with another piece of the DSP and stamped a sentiment from Itty Bitty Greetings.
I mounted it all on a Very Vanilla card base and left the inside blank for a little note!
I hope you'll play along with our challenge; the design team has a plethora of teacups to make up for the ones that I didn't have, so I hope you'll pop over to the Inspired By blog to see what they created! Thanks for visiting today!

Enjoy your day and be blessed!

Love how you designed your card, even without teacups. Super Pretty!
This gift did the trick, beautifully! LeAnne I love your vintage tea tin, and sweet little bird!
What a sweet, and pretty card - and a great way to show everyone that there is always another way to be inspired at IB!!

You've been very resourceful LeAnne! Love your patchwork background and that gorgeous bird perching on the tea cannister! Cassidy is rocking that shark t-shirt! Vicky x
I don't own a tea cup stamp or die either, LeAnne, or even a coffee cup. LOL, I need to get with the program! Love the papers and that sweet little bird!
That tea tin worked perfectly and so did the little bird! This is charming LeAnne!
What a beautiful card! I love that little bird, too.
That tea tin is just perfect - what a clever solution, and not a teacup in sight!
The tea cannister is a brilliant substitute for the teacups!
Love the mix of papers, too.
The tea canister and bird are so beautiful, this is such a pretty, soft card!
