Happy Saturday, peeps! Just a quick easy card today using a quick easy sketch from Inspire.Create:
And it's not a Christmas card!! I needed a quick thank you card, so I used some of the new fall papers from the Holiday catalog, though; they're called Come to Gather, and this one features that pretty new In Color, Pretty Peacock:
I used a sentiment from A Big Thank You and the feather from the May Paper Pumpkin kit, stamped in Pool Party, then added a Mint Macaron ribbon. For a little extra interest, I diecut a Nested Label from Pretty Peacock cardstock, cut it in half and layered it behind the diecut circle:
Before mounting it on my Thick White card, I embossed the front with the Subtle embossing folder...I love the effect that gives!
Cassidy spent some time yesterday drawing pictures for Jackie and Lee....after spending each morning and afternoon on the school bus with Lee, she was a little sad about not seeing him every day. So she drew him a poster of an XBox 360:
and for Jackie, she drew something she called a Golden (uni)corn....she misspelled Golden, but the drawing is still pretty good!

Bittersweet for you and Cassidy. This is great monochromatic CAS card. You know I'm into the first but not the second. Perhaps I'll give this sketch a try today. Have a blessed weekend.
So love this little girl LeAnne. She has such a beautiful HEART. I think you have played a big role in that. You have certainly encouraged her creativity. She is so good at helping others even yard work at the church. All of your followers will miss her...I surely will. But hey, keep your wonderful cards coming.
I like the wispy feathers, this is lovely! I'm sure Lee will miss Cassidy too. How sweet of her to make these special gifts for her friends!
