Easy Sketchy Saturday

Happy Monday, peeps!  SO....here was my day yesterday:
  1. Walk a mile when I got up.
  2. Make breakfast before church.
  3. Go to church.
  4. Come home and make lunch.
  5. Mow the yard.
  6. Go to a wedding (but not the reception).
  7. Come home and crash.
  8. Take a nap.
  9. Make a card.
  10. Make dinner.
  11. Walk again.
  12. Surf my favorite blogs and go to bed.
LOL....are you bored yet?  See how far down the list "make a card" was??  So I had to make this easy peasy one using some pretty Shimelle Little by Little papers from American Craft and Perennial Birthday (again) because it was already sitting on my desk!

I used Laurel's Sketchy Saturday sketch:

The papers did most of the work.....check out this pretty wreath!  In hindsight, my flower is a bit too bright, but the Mint Macaron sentiment works perfectly!  I just hand-cut the curvy banner and adhered it with a couple of dimensionals!  I added a few sequins too!

I always need birthday cards, don't you?!  This will help build up my stash!

You never know what you'll find when you go yard saling with Grammy and Grampy!!

Everybody needs an orange plastic Halloween skeleton decoration!!  It was only a quarter!!  So happy you popped in today!  Enjoy your day and be blessed!

Beautiful papers & love how you put everything together! The skeleton is so fun--good use of a quarter!

Your schedule sounded perfect to me and your card is perfectly done for the sketch challenge. I love to go to garage sales. We do it every year when we go up to our friend's house near Plattsburgh, NY. Last year I found a dictionary for 10 cents, big hardback one in perfect condition, and that was my mission. I wanted it to use the pages for background paper. I made one card using it so far. My friend went last week and saw a whole bunch of embossing powder for a quarter but she didn't buy it because she didn't know how to use it. She is kicking herself now :-)

LeAnne, your to do list looks like mine (sort of), and sadly the card making always gets pushed to the bottom. But mow the lawn before going to a wedding?! That would not have been on my list, lol! Regardless - your card is beautiful! Love the papers, and great take on the sketch. Hope you have a more relaxing day today!

My favorite part of your day was take a nap LOL!! I've wanted a nap for the last four days and it never happened! Cute card and a cute little girl behind that orange skeleton!

What a day - great that you managed a nap though, I need to find time for one of those! I'm amazed you managed to get a card made in there too - and such a pretty one at that!
