PPA290 Hello Baby

Happy Saturday, peeps!  A late post for today, been binge-watching Doc Martin!  I did squeeze in some stamping time and created a baby card for friends of Dana's who just had a little boy!  He's so cute, too!  First, the sketch from Pals Paper Arts:

PPA-290-Mar03

I mixed things up on my card, using some new and old stuff!  Here we go:

I used a fun piece of retired SU DSP from a couple of years back (can't remember the name and I've lost the cover!!!), along with a panel of Marina Mist, stamped with the Alphabet stamp in white ink and diecut with a stitched die from Lil'Inkers.  The hostess set Silhouettes & Script provided the cute little baby bottle image, and I cut an identical mat from Night of Navy to lay behind to give it a visual boost.  I laid two pieces of Summer Starfruit ribbon side by side, and added the sentiment on top.

Thanks for popping in today!  Be sure to stop back tomorrow for the Paper Players challenge!

A little reading with Mommy:

This is so cute! It's great to see that Host set used. I love the paper (I can't remember what it is either.) it's perfect for baby boy! Great idea to use the ribbon for a banner too.

Perfect baby boy DSP. The way you placed your ribbon to make a banner is genius! Thanks for playing at PPA!
