DD51 and TSSC262

DSCF4722

Happy Thursday, peeps!  I really loved the Dynamic Duos challenge this week:

and I paired it with the sketch from Monday’s Technostamper Lunchtime Challenge:

for my card today:

DSCF4723

I started with some October Afternoon Thrift Shop papers, and added a watercolored image from Fabulous Florets for my focal piece.  It was heat embossed on watercolor paper, then colored with reinkers in the challenge colors:

I added a little banner with a sentiment from Storybook Friends, and did a wee bit of stitching, since I already had my sewing machine out and threaded up!  I even made a custom envelope since this card is a tad larger than a standard-sized card.  I played around with my diagonal scoring plate until I got just the right size!  These colors just make me smile!!!

Since Cassidy was interested in my binoculars recently, I got her a little play pair over the weekend:

Enjoy your day!

this is beautiful LeAnne and I love how you used the stitching and made it's own envelope. Cassidy is too adorable and can tell she's going to get a lot of fun out them.

Soooo pretty, LeAnne! I love the mix of patterns and all of those lovely layers! Cassidy is so cute in her photos, too. Geez, she is relly "grown up" now. When did THAT happen?? Thank you for joining us this week at Dynamic Duos! Hugs! :)
