CASology Sorry

DSCF5436

Happy Friday, peeps!  I know I said I wouldn’t be around much….but I was feeling sorry for myself after dropping my 1972 Singer sewing machine on my toe last night.  OUCH!  That baby was heavy!  I am hoping it still works!!   To make matters worse, I had planned to do a lot of walking with my roomies….we’ll see how it goes.  They may have to wheel me around Longwood Gardens in a wheelchair, LOL!  Anyway, I took a break from my cleaning to make a CAS card for friends of ours who had to put down their beloved Wiggles.  He was the smartest dog!!!  I know they will miss him, so I used the little dog from Every Little Bit to make my doggie sympathy card:

I affectionately call this my donut card!  The opening on the front allows the image to pop through from the inside of the card:

He was paper-pieced and popped up with a double dose of dimensionals.  A little gingham ribbon adds some interest  without being too fussy.  The sentiment was computer-generated.   This qualifies for the CASology cue card of “Furry”, too!

Your card is so cute. Love that paper pieced dog.
I hope your toe feels better quickly and doesn't interfere with your weekend plans.

Ouch! I hope you can still walk and that the machine still works! I love the window for the cute pooch to sit in! Gives me a new idea for this set! Hope you're having a wonderful time!

I love the clean design of this - and the window just adds a little more interest than if it was flat on the card. I'm always sorry to hear about people losing (or having to put down) their pets. I'm sure this will bring some comfort! Thanks so much for playing along with us at CASology this week!

This is such a cute and sweet card! Love the CAS look, but with a great added interest with the "donut" factor. So sorry to hear about your toe! That sounds so painful. Hope it doesn't interfere too much with your weekend.

Sorry about your toe, LeAnne, and sorry for your friends who lost their beloved pet. Your card is a sensational design, which I am putting in my faves, and your friends will appreciate and treasure it. Congratulations on the well-deserved HM honor from CASology!!
