Happy Sunday, peeps! And happy February! Claire is our Paper Players hostess this week with a fun appropriate challenge for the month of February:
I just had a Valentine's class yesterday, so I decided to take one of our projects and share it as my feature for this week! Here we go:
I started with a card base of Petunia Pop. The image is from an older SU stamp set called Festive Four; the envelope of hearts was stamped in Versafine ink, then colored in with inks and Blender Pens:
I added a scalloped layer of Fresh Freesia and some matching ribbon; it all went on an embossed layer of Basic White. The Valentine sentiment is from Papertrey, and a little Bubble Bath Shimmer heart was added for fun. The sentiment on the inside is from the retired Suite Sayings:
I hope you'll get some inspiration from all the samples over at the Paper Players blog! We hope you'll play along with us as well! Thanks for popping in today! Enjoy it and be blessed!

Super sweet, LeAnne! I remember this wood mounted set! Blast from the past and a good one! Love the floating hearts in the background!
LeAnne, what a fun Valentine! The embossed hearts add the perfect background for this little envelope of love The Petunia Pop is such a fun color, too! The scalloped background makes your little love note pop of the white. SO fun! Thank you for making my challenge shine! Have a great week, My Friend!
Looks like there's a whole lot of love packed into that darling little envelope, LeAnne! What a cute Valentine!

Such a cute Valentine, LeAnne! I love Fresh Freesia and Bubble Bath for a bit of change from all the pinks and reds of Valentine's Day. That embossing folder you used is the perfect backdrop for your image.
Total sweetness! Love the purple with just the hint of red!
Such a sweet, sweet Valentine, LeAnne! Petunia Pop, Fresh Freesia and Bubble Bath are fun and fresh non-traditional Valentine colors. The image is precious. LOVE it! Have a wonderful week!
You had me with those wee polka dot hearts tucked into that envelope! Darling card, LeAnne!
Adorable card, LeAnne! I'd say it's "fun & fresh-looking"! I love the Freesia & the little scalloped die. Perfect tiny envelope, too!
That little envelope filled with hearts is so, so cute, LeAnne! It's fun to see a Valentine's card in purples, it really looks pretty!
This is a sweet project and I'm sure your friends enjoyed the design, LeAnne! Fun colors and image!
Perfect folder for the occasion! I like the way you've used purples rather than red or pink for you Valentine - somehow it freshens things up a bit. Nice layout too. :-)
This heart-filled card is just perfect for Valentine's LeAnne and I love the incorporation of the soft purple with the pink and red too. Gorgeous!
