Happy Wednesday, peeps! The Inspire.Create.Challenge this week wants to see something new!
I recently got this beautiful embossing folder called Stone & Vine--it's a bit of a sleeper in the catalog, easy to overlook! I chose it to make a non-traditional Valentine! It's a square card, 4 1/4", and it's also blue! Here we go:
I embossed a piece of Misty Moonlight with the embossing folder, then swiped my Craft White ink pad across the raised areas. I added a sentiment from Encircled With Love, making sure the hummingbird's tail didn't get cut off, then mounted it all on a Cloud Cover card base:
Thanks for popping in today! Enjoy it and be blessed!

I love this non-traditional valentine, LeAnne! It can also be used for other occasions. No need to limit it to Valentine's Day! I love how the white ink shows the beautiful design of the embossing and the tweet little bird!
So pretty and that EF sure is a sleeper! I have been seeing it all over the place lately was not sure where it came from. Love all the blues and how simple this one is! Well done, LeAnne! :)
Very pretty!
Beautiful! That embossed background is lovely especially with the white ink. I love it with that sweet sentiment circle.
Your Valentine could tick the 'all occasion' box, LeAnne and is so lovely in your wonderful dusty blue! Another gorgeous ribbon in your stash to love is always a good thing to see!

You're right about that EF being a sleeper, I swear I have never seen it before! Love what you did with it here, such a pretty blue Valentine!
Loving this pretty shade of blue and the white wash you gave it! Wonderful card, LeAnne!
Beautiful! I love the colors and how you used the craft ink to highlight the embossing! I've got this stamp set and haven't used it nearly enough! TFS!
BEAUTIFUL card!!! I love your card & you just can't go wrong using blue!! Also, I wasn't at all interested in the EF until I saw your card. The embossing on blue is much more clear than on other cards I've seen that used it. Now, I may have to buy it. Thanks a lot for enabling me, again! Ha! Huggs from kinda-sunny Florida!
