CH#124 Nephew's Birthday

Hello, all!  Happy Saturday! I feel like it's been ages since I posted! I hope you all had a great New Year's holiday!  I am slowly getting back into my craft room after the Christmas decor clean-up!  Now my craft room needs a clean-up, LOL!  I did manage to make one card for my nephew who will be turning 40 in a few days!  I used Bonnie's color challenge from Color Hues:

Since he has his own construction company, I chose Trusty Tools to create his card:

I used Smoky Slate and Basic Gray cardstocks for the background; stamped, diecut and colored the hammer, then added the balloons using the retired Balloon punch and retired Little Numbers dies:

A sentiment from Best Family Ever went on the front:

and also on the inside, along with another sentiment from Best Year.  Hope he likes it!

Thanks for visiting today; enjoy it and be blessed!

This is great, LeAnne! Trusty Tools is a great set and perfect for the man with his own construction company! I've had three nephew/nieces turn 40 in the last year! Where did the time go?!

What a fun card for your nephew! The colors worked perfectly for it too! I cleaned up my craft nook yesterday. Now to tackle the Christmas decorations!

This is a perfect masculine card, LeAnne! I love the pegboard and hammer and that background texture is awesome! What a wonderful use of these colors for Color Hues!
