PP743 Saying Hi

Happy Sunday, all! Elizabeth is our Paper Players hostess this week and her challenge is to make a ONE-layer card!  ONE layer means no additional layers, no diecuts, nothing! If you're using adhesive, then it's not one layer!  It sounds challenging, but all you need are stamps, ink and paper!

I recently got this large image from Colorado Craft and it was perfect for my one-layer card:

I stamped the image on Thick Basic White cardstock with Stazon ink, then colored the images loosely with ink and an aquapainter.  I just love this Soft Succulent front door with the kitty trying to get in:

And I wonder what this cute little pup is thinking!

I added a Unity sentiment because it seemed perfect!

I know a one-layer card seems challenging, but I think you can do it! There are lots of options for giving depth and dimension, so put on your thinking cap and hop on over to the Players to play along!  Thanks for visiting today; enjoy it and be blessed!

What an adorable scene! [I personally think that pup is thinking 'what's the password?'] You've colored it such a sweet story-book way!
I'm up for that one-layer challenge - thinking cap on!

LeAnne...LOVE this image and your sweet coloring. Fun to get back to coloring in our current trend of dies and stencils. Such a FUN card!

This is just wonderful! Ever since I started getting Blends, I tend to use them to colour and I'd forgotten how pretty watercolouring like this is. You've nudged me to go back to my roots in this respect. The scene is just so appealing and cute. I love the cat and the green door too. :-)

I LOVE this LeAnne - so much going on in this sweet scene, you hardly realise your card is just one layer! Love the loose watercolouring too - just like a storybook painting.
