Hello Friend

Happy Tuesday, peeps!  I'm on the fence about my card today! I used the colors from Creative Colour Challenges as well as the sketch from Sketch Saturday:

So here we go:

I used several sets here! The bird and sentiment are from Country Birdhouse and the background behind it is Elements of Text.  I stamped the bird in Basic Gray and colored him in with Soft Sea Foam a wee bit of Lost Lagoon ink.  The little leaf is from Iconic Imagery.  I added some embossed and diecut layers, and the mat is Every Day Happiness.  The final embellishments are some matte dots and some gray gingham ribbon:

The gray was the hardest to incorporate; hope there's enough here to qualify, LOL!  It was fun to put together anyway! And speaking of birds, I haven't shown my almost-favorite guy who visited my suet yesterday:

My feeder is right outside my craft room window, but there is a screen, so it's not perfectly clear, but regardless--isn't he impressive?  Thanks for visiting today!  Enjoy it and be blessed!

LeAnne, I think you nailed it! I love the woodpecker too. My suet went moldy this winter. I have never had that happen. I didn't want the birds to get sick so I tossed it. They usually would devour the suet but not this one! They must have known something wasn't right before it went moldy.

You used these colors beautifully, LeAnne! That is the sweetest little bird on the card! What a great picture of the Pileated Woodpecker! We saw one last week in our neighbors yard, but he was too far away to get a good picture. Hopefully he'll come back and perch closer.

Lordy Bee, LeAnne, this card is amazing! You've done a terrific job on using the colors & the sketch for this pretty card! Love the dies and your sweet little bird! And what a shot you got at the bird feeder! He's super duper pretty, too! Is that a woodpecker? I'm not up to date on my birds but slowly learning. TFS and enjoy your day!

Pretty card, LeAnne! I know my guy would be camera ready if we had a visitor like this outside our window!

I love your card, LeAnne! I love the textures you incorporated into the sketch and the colors...just the right amount of gray, too, a touch! Beautiful bird photo! I have been loving the chorus of birds I've been hearing these days! Music to my ears...spring is here!

LeAnne, that darling scalloped mat really makes your layers pop - such a cute little bird! AND a fabulous BIG bird, too! [every time I see one I think about Woody the Woodpecker's greeting!]
