Happy Sunday, all! John and I are both down with coughs and colds...not fun in our household! But it hasn't stopped me from stamping, I am just snuggled away in my craft room, honking away! The 52 Christmas Card Throwdown had an interesting sketch; you know I love things in threes, so it certainly appealed to me:
I recently got some free dies from Scrapbook.com and had an idea to use them on my card today! Here we go:
Anyone recognize that sentiment? It's from an old wood-mount stamp called Peaceful Wishes! It came out in 2006 and I haven't used it for years! I stamped it in Shaded Spruce and added some diecut circles from the retired Classic Christmas DSP. The star banner and bows were cut from some white glimmer paper; I backed the paper with an adhesive sheet to make sticking it down a bit easier!
I already had this scalloped panel cut and in my cardstock file, so I just stamped a sentiment on it from Hope & Peace and my card is good to go! The first Christmas one of 2025!

Wow, look at you...getting a head start on Christmas 2025! I love your card and the star die. Sorry you and John are sick...I'm so sympathetic that I have joined you!! Came down with it last Monday and it hasn't left yet. I have no desire to stamp, however, so you are a leap ahead of me. I am also having big time computer problems. Trying to clean up my laptop to get ready for a new one. Get better soon!
What a wonderful card to go with that neat sketch! I especially love that inside sentiment. I don't remember that stamp set, Hope and Peace, but I wish I had it! LOL! Hope you and John feel better soon!

I love these little stars, LeAnne! I still have the Peaceful wishes set and actually used the mistletoe from it this year. Sorry you and John have colds. A virus caught up with me to start off the new year. Hopefully that will be all for us this year.
