Happy Wednesday, peeps! Are you all ready for the big day tomorrow? Ours will be low-key! I am going to make Cornish hens....hopefully they'll turn out okay, I've never made them before!
My card today is for the 52 Christmas Card Throwdown, which wants to see some ribbon on our cards!
I have TONS of ribbon and don't use it as much as I should! I did find some glittery burlap ribbon in my stash which I thought had a nice country feel to it, so I decided to use that along with another image from the North Pole Trading Company stamp set I still had on my desk. So here we go:
Maybe not the best card I've made but it has country holiday vibe to it that I like anyway! Thanks for visiting today!
Now that all my stamp classes are done for the year, I've been concentrating on finishing the cross stitch projects I was working on during 2024! Here are just two of them...they call them "smalls" in the cross stitch world!
Enjoy your day and be blessed!

This card is so adorable, LeAnne! Love that your using the ribbon and keeping it flat for easy mailing! The Santa is the cutest and I think he looks great! Your pillows are beautiful! Great job!! You are one talented lady for sure! TFS and enjoy your Thanksgiving dinner tomorrow! Hugs~
This is some pretty country feel ribbon with the sparkly snowflakes, LeAnne! It makes a great place to put this Santa! Love your "smalls"! I haven't done cross stitch in ages.
I think your Santa looks right at home on that lovely ribbon - looks like you embroidered that, too? Darling wee little pillows, LeAnne!
Now about those hens - after a lifetime of cooking the largest turkey she could find, my mother [of nine] turned to roasting/stuffing Cornish hens for two... she loved them, and I do, too!

What a fun and festive card using that glittery burlap ribbon. I love your little pillows! You do beautiful work!
Cute card and adorable cross stitch finishes! I do cross stitch too and my mom just asked me how many I had ready to frame...it's like over a dozen :)
Your Santa card is adorable!!! And I love the snowflake-stitched ribbon.
I don't know how you find time to do cross stitch!! These little pillows are beyond amazing! I love them!!!
Santa looks right at home on those sparkling snowflakes! This is cute. Almost as cute as your "smalls"! You're so talented, LeAnne. Enjoy those hens and have a Happy Thanksgiving!
Now that is a statement ribbon that definitely deserves to be front and centre - how pretty! Love the style of the Santa too.
And I forgot to say - I love those little cushions! Such a neat way to show off your stitching. I love the idea of a basket of smalls (off to Google patterns in readiness for 2025!)
I love your Santa card and your pillows are so sweet!
