Hi everyone! Wow, it's the first of August already! The summer is flying by! I tried to cool off yesterday by stamping some little snow characters! I used the As You See It sketch challenge:
as well as the Jingle Belles challenge "We Three Kings"--use something in threes! I LOVE my threes! I pulled out Snow Place and stamped the two snowman and penguin on some white scraps, punched them out, and gave them some accessories:
I mounted them on a Soft Sky card base on which I had stamped some white snowflakes; the DSP is from this year's This Christmas Specialty DSP (green) and some retired Polka Dot Parade (red). And of course I had to give them some "snow" glitter:
The sentiment is from a new set called Oh, What Fun, and it was stamped on a stitched tag (Simon Says Stamp (Bundle of Stitched Shapes) and accented with some red ribbon! Nice to have another card for my December stash!
Cassidy is obsessed with her two front teeth....they're loose but not ready to come out yet! A friend at church told her she needed to eat lots of corn on the cob and that would help loosen them up, so she took her advice....but no progress yet, LOL!
And a couple more stunning birthday cards....this one is from Broni! I must ask her how she achieved that awesome watercoloring!

Oh Leanne - it feels way too early to be thinking of Christmas cards! This is so lovely. I like the way the red ribbon picks up the red of the paper and the red on some of the faces. It's is absolutely adorable! Thanks for joining us at As You See It again.

you realize of course that the little sweetheart eating the corn has completely stolen the thunder from your GORGEOUS cards, right?! what a cuuuuuuutie!!! but the snowman and penguin trio of circles really is WONDERFUl and so totally fun! thanks for helping us celebrate christmas, cubed, with us at ♥JINGLE BELLES♥! :) :) :)
