JUGS194 & Catered Crop

DSCF6022

Happy Wednesday, peeps!  I needed a cheery, thinking-of-you card for a friend and I just couldn’t pass up the JUGS photo challenge:

Lots of fun inspiration here!  Gave me a chance to use the new Kind & Cozy set, along with some embossing folders and the retired Flowers 2 die:

I just love how the brad almost mimics the floral diecut!!!

And since I used several dies, this is also for the So Shapely challenge at the Catered Crop as well!  If you have any questions, shoot me an email!

Some Carolina wrens invaded our bluebird box (grrrrr) and Cassidy, in her non-ending quest to “catch” a wild critter, thought she would sneak up on it:

Curses, foiled again!

But isn’t her French braid pretty?  Courtesy of Mommy – I don’t do hair!

Great take on the inspiration challenge. Love those vibrant colors and I will never get rid of that die! I could never master the French braid. I think I would have kept my hair long if I could have. They always look so pretty and Cassidy is no exception. She makes me smile.

Oh this card is beautiful and will for sure cheer up your friend. I love the yellow and black combo. Beautiful circular sentiment layers - love the touch of gingham. I see another case in my future;)
I noticed Cassidy's french braid right away and was going to say "way to go grammy", but then you set me straight pretty quickly by saying Mommy did it. It's so sweet on Cassidy. Too bad she can't sneak up on the bird:( She does look disappointed.

This is so bright and pretty, LeAnne! Can't help but cheer someone up! Those little Carolina Wrens are something. We have a whole family of them in the back yard. Maybe that's why I haven't seen the bluebirds lately! We did have a pair of Gold Finches last week. And a young Downy Woodpecker that just hung on the seed bell. I think it was the last place he had seen his momma.
