I Actually Scrapped!

DSCF4838

I am not a very good scrapbooker, but since I now have a granddaughter and take pictures all the time, I really have no excuse not to at least TRY to do a page now and then.  This one was very simple, as I wanted to highlight the beautiful SU Deck the Halls DP:

I added a few die cut Crumb Cake snowflakes that had been embossed with Versamark ink and Iridescent Ice EP to complement my sepia photo:

I also stamped a portion of Christmas Collage on vellum in White craft ink and used the Square Scallop diecut:

I adhered everything with Dotto, as I will probably re-do my journaling piece as I am not really happy with it.  Even though it’s not “expert”, I think it will give my customers an idea of how pretty the papers are!

Since my little Cassidy sounds like Snuffleupagus today with a little congestion, she is not in the mood for having her photo taken!  Instead, on this gray, rainy day, my cat Pumpkin has taken over my computer desk (and now you can see how messy my desk is!):

As you can see, I don’t have much room to use my mouse…or my calculator or my card reader…..oh well, she doesn’t grace me with her presence very often, so I am enjoying her company, even with her back to me!  Enjoy your day!

Oh, LeAnne! What a gorgeous scrapbook page! I don't know what's not to like. You started with great dp, used a sepia-toned photo of your little angel, white embossed on vellum....I don't know, I think it's terrific!

And my heart leapt when I saw the picture of your cat. Looks just like my boy, Smoat, who recently passed away. We still miss him so very much. So that's good that you don't mind if Pumpkin turns her back on you. You still have her company. :)

OH LEANNE! How can you think you're not a good scrapbooker? That is the most gorgeous page ever - the color - the design - the BABY!! It's just an incredible page!!!!!

Love your page LeAnne! The compostion is perfect with the DP and I agree with the others- the collage stamp with white EP on vellum looks vintage lace!

Pumpkin looks like a great helper:-) I have two such helpers each evening that grace me with their presence- it sometimes creates a problem trying to stamp and especially emboss, but I love their company!

Have fun enjoying your granddaughter- she sure is precious.

how cute I love how you copied the scallop on the sleeve on the delicate look of the Merry Christmas
