Happy Sunday, all! Time for a new Paper Players challenge, and Joanne has a color palette for us that really said "Christmas" to me and probably will to you, too! Here's my card, using the retired Toile Christmas stamp:
And here's her prompt:
I stamped Mr Cardinal in Versafine Black and Real Red inks, then added some Tim Holtz holly in long-retired Handsome Hunter (remember THAT color?). I diecut the cardinal out with the Christmas Cardinal dies, and added some gold swirls from the same dies:
Some holly-printed DSP created the background, I also stamped and heat-embossed the sentiment on the front with gold ink and embossing powder, and added three gold pearls to the corner. The berries are from Iconic Imagery. A Simon Says Stamp sentiment went on the inside, along with an extra set of berries:
I must say that the Design Team outdid themselves with these colors! I hope you'll go check them out at the Paper Players blog, and use these colors as an excuse to start your holiday stamping, if you haven't already! Thanks for popping in today! Enjoy it and be blessed!
