Happy Sunday, all! Jan is our Paper Players hostess this week, and it's CLEAN and SIMPLE week! Remember to keep your card elements to a minimum!
What a fun challenge theme! I recently got some rub-ons from 49 and Market and had not had a chance to use them--perfect timing! I admit they were a little fiddly to adhere but other than the fact that I had NOT planned to put my big sentiment at an angle, I made them work! Here we go:
I first embossed a piece of Thick Basic White with the Stitched With Whimsy die, then chose my rub-ons. I had laid the top one down on the paper, then ran to take something out of the oven and by the time I got back, it had begun to adhere to the paper----so, at an angle it went! I put the bunnies at an angle too, then added the sun, the sentiment and the yellow splotch:
As I said, they took a little effort to get them to adhere, but I found out that using the tip of my piercing tool to run with helped get the finer details in place! I left the inside blank, as this could be used for any number of occasions! The rub-ons made for a very quick card and I think it's CAS enough! I am also going to enter this over at the Krafty Chicks, where they're also looking for CAS!
I hope you'll play with our CAS challenge at the Paper Players this week! Check out what the design team did with this---you may be surprised at the "weather" they chose! Thanks for visiting today! Enjoy it and be blessed!

And I say it's [more than] alright! Such a fun card, LeAnne! This is the song I have Alexa wake me up to!

Oh, my, goodness...those rub ons are fantastic...especially the bunnies! Good luck in the challenge. Have a blessed day.
And now I have a song in my head! This is fantastic, LeAnne. Love the bunnies and your warm sunny design!
The sentiment had me thinking The Beatles straight away! I like the angling - looks totally intentional. Interesting that you used rubons - I haven't seen any around for a long time but then again, there's no longer any physical stores to browse around! Thanks for making such a super card for my theme. :-)
I'm on a major post-holiday comment catch-up today, so here goes! I adore this card LeAnne - who knew rub-ons could be so much fun?" I love the slight angles, I think it adds to the look and I am now going to be singing that song all day long!
What a fun card, LeAnne! I actually like the sentiment at an angle. I will admit this card had me singing "Here Comes the Sun" for most of the day. The bunnies are adorable. What neat rub-ons!
Such a lovely card, LeAnne, and whenever I make something that's crooked I say that's how you can tell it's handmade! I love the song lyrics, that is my favorite Beatles song written by George Harrison and George is my favorite Beatle, my mom can have Paul ; ) Hope you have a wonderful week of sunshine!
LeAnne, this is so FUN! I haven't used rubs on in so long and I agree, they can be a little challenging, but yours look great. That song is a favorite of mine and now I will be singing it all day. I love the whimsy die, too!
Love this card, LeAnne! It has the feel of a mixed media make with all the lines of text at the top, but CAS! It's really fun and the bunnies are soo cute.
LeAnne, I love the angled sentiment, the stitching and those cute little critters. Such a fun and cheerful card!
