Happy Thursday, everyone! Happy last day of April! I just got the upcoming Online Exclusive Splash and Relax bundle and I just had to play with it for the FMS challenge this week! Here's their sketch:
I was intrigued by this, especially with those rounded corners. It's such an easy thing to do if you have a corner rounder punch and yet, I forget to do it! So here we go with my little 4 1/4" square card:
Crisp Cantaloupe was one of my favorite colors, so I was thrilled to see it return! I did a variety of diecuts in it, plus white and black, to create my card. I added some black and white gingham and a couple of black rhinestones and iridescent sequins as embellishments!
I mounted everything on a panel of Basic White, embossed with the Seaside embossing folder. The inside sentiments were from the same set and the Rolling Waves set.
This will go to a friend from TOPS who loves going to the beach! And I must confess (and I would love to hear opinions of other demonstrators) that I am struggling with these new ink pads. As you can see, the sentiment is a bit blurry. After I stamped this, I literally took a paper towel and wiped off some of the ink from the top of pad. I remember some of the foam pads being exceptionally juicy, but this is not quite the same. Anyone have any tips to get better, crisp images?
Thanks for popping in today! Enjoy it and be blessed!

So cute!! Love the design and the pretty colors!
OH! what a gorgeous color! Every little beach-y piece of your design is perfection, LeAnne! I love the black itty-bitty gingham ribbon/bow and the crisp black sentiment with this crisp canteloupe!
Your 'thinking cap' really paid off, my friend! Thanks so much for taking our sketch to the beach!

What a fun set and this sketch is perfect for beach towels and accessories! Crisp Cantaloupe was a favorite of mine and I'm almost out of cardstock so it's a timely arrival.
VERY cute card, LeAnne! I, too, loved Crisp Cantaloupe (& Pistachio Pudding released at the same time). I still have the cardstock, ink, refill, marker...just need the Blends.
Your card is great for many occasions & I love, love your creative arrangement!!!! I struggle with arrangements that aren't symmetrical, due to my OCD. :) Thanks for sharing!!! Huggs from sunny Florida!
I don't have any of the new ink pads yet, so I can't comment on how well they work.
OMG this is adorable! Love the color and beachy theme! Fabulous!
This is such a cute beachy card and your beach loving friend will be happy! I like the new ink pads. I haven't used them a lot and mine aren't too juicy. My upline and friend reminded me to, "tap, tap, twist, twist" with the stamp on the ink pad. Not ridiculously hard but give it a go and see what happens.
This is 4 1/4" of cuteness, LeAnne! Love the color, the polka dots and all of those delightful layers!
I think your card is adorable but I gather I may be the only person who never liked Crisp Cantaloupe and here it is again. Its probably because I don't like the actual "thing"...cantaloupe! Go figure. And my husband doesn't either so we knew we were a perfect match!
Beautiful colours and design.
