PP763 Color Challenge from Jan

Happy Sunday, peeps!  It's Jan's turn to be the hostess at the Paper Players, and she has a nice fall-feeling color palette for us this week:

My dad's cousin is turning 93 this month, so I took advantage of these colors to make him a fall-themed birthday card using some Autumn Toile DSP:

I used some Everyday Arch dies to create a tag with Basic White and Old Olive cardstocks, and used some Mossy Meadow baker's twine for the embellishment.  Sentiments are from Everyday Greetings and Greetings of the Season; the foliage is from Lasting Joy:

Here's the inisde:

Lots of fun ways to use these colors this week! Stop over at the Paper Players blog to see what the other designers did with them!  Thanks for visiting today!  Enjoy it and be blessed!

LeAnne, I love that darling fox print and how you've combined Jan's colors! HEY! Maybe that's whose tracks we found walking through the SNOW this morning!

What a perfect masculine birthday card, LeAnne! Happy birthday to your dad's cousin. Celebrating a 93rd birthday is awesome! You used one of my favorite designer paper patterns. I LOVE the foxes. The color contrast between the "Happy Birthday" tag and the background shows off the sentiment so well. Have a great week!

Love how you used that fox paper (one of my favorites!) for this birthday card, and I think this would be equally perfect for a man or a woman. Just lovely!

The fox paper is very cute but it is the very pretty stamped tag that really shines for me. Thanks for making the colours looks so good! I don't know why I picked such autumnal colours (other than really liking the combination) since it's early summer here. :-)

Wow, 93 years old! That's wonderful and so is your birthday card for him, LeAnne! Love the fox dsp and how you used a tag for the sentiment. I never think to do that. I hope he has a fabulous birthday!

Another significant birthday to be celebrated LeAnne - and a lovely way to showcase both the DSP and those arches and the leaf detail is a great way to incorporate the challenge colours too. A fabulous masculine card!
