Hi everyone! My Christmas card stamping has really taken a hit lately, so I thought I'd make a card using the Merry Monday monochromatic (again!) blue challenge with the Global Design Project's sketch:
It's a shame this photo doesn't really capture how sweet this card really is, so you'll just have to use your imagination:
I used some circle dies to cut a hole in my Soft Sky card base and a mat of Dazzling Diamonds glimmer paper to frame it. I used thick white cardstock to cut out a beautiful snowflake from the Seasonal Layers framelits, which I adhered to the side of the opening. I added some silver twine and a few snowflakes and sentiments from the carried-over Christmas Pines! Love that set! I really thought that Soft Sky and Pool Party were similar in hue, but you can tell that Pool Party really has a green tint to it! And to finish it off, I added a wee little sequin to the center of my snowflake:
This outfit would stop traffic, don't you think? We choose our battles...if she wants to wear a rainbow to school, a rainbow it is!
And the weather has been a little more cooperative and hopefully, the new siding will be finished today! The back and addition are actually done now, I didn't get a picture of it. Only the front remains! Then we'll get the shutters on and it will be all pretty on the outside...the house, anyway. The yard is another matter!
Thanks so much for stopping by--enjoy your day and be a blessing to someone today!
