Happy Sunday, peeps! I am the hostess at the Players today, and I have fun clean-and-simple challenge for you: On the Go! We want to see a vehicle of some sort on your CAS card...it can be a car, motorcycle, train, bicycle, airplane...just something that "goes"!
Of course, these kinds of images usually bring to mind masculine cards, and I happen to need SIX birthday cards for my church friends this month! I usually don't do assembly-line cards but I thought it would be fun to use some of the Urban Underground DSP that's in the Occasions catalog to make a my cards. So here is the first one:
I used the same layout for each card, and I used one sheet of DSP for each card, alternating the patterns from front and back, and using a contrast for the horizontal piece. I used my MISTI to stamp the car and sentiment from Guy Greetings in Basic Black:
All the cards use the Mojo Monday 492sketch:
It was fun to mix and match the patterns, although the polka-dotted one does sort of look like a pair of pajamas to me, LOL! These could easily be stepped up with some brads or other sort of embellishment, but since the challenge was CAS, I left them unadorned! And now I have six cards all made and ready to mail out!
I hope you'll play along with our CAS challenge this week! I can't wait to see what vehicles everyone uses! Check out the DT's samples as well at the Paper Players blog!
Cassidy did a few Easter treats for her mommy; she liked the projects I made for my Basket Bunch stamp camp, so we just copied them, using her favorite colors!!!
Enjoy your Easter and be blessed!

Easter Greetings from Disney! Yesterday we walked 6 miles and today our bodies are believing it!! Wish we had had a vehicle ;-) Your cards are wonderful and to think how much DSP you used...it gave the car motion. Your birthday peeps should be very pleased. You had your mojo going.
Assembly line works when you have a fantastic design like this one! Great use of the sketch and way to maximize your DSP. Such a fun challenge this week, my friend! Happy Easter!
