Hi peeps! I am popping in mid-week with a quick card using a real clean and simple sketch from Sunday Stamps:
I needed a thank-you card, and I happened to find this scrap of DSP from the Serene Scenery pad and I thought it would be fun to stamp directly onto the paper! So here we go:
I stamped the basket and the flowers from Basket of Wishes in black Stazon and colored them in with an aquapainter and a little ink. The sentiment is from Cottage Greetings, stamped in Cajun Craze, and I added a little strip of Cajun Craze cardstock under each piece to accent it. A linen thread bow finished it off. And I stamped the basket alone on the inside in Sahara Sand, just for fun:
That's it for today! Have a blessed one!
Cassidy and Mandy Panda went to the library, too!
Enjoy your day!

Such a sweet card. That basket looks great stamped directly on the woodgrain paper. I never thought to try that.

What a great CAS card. I love that you stamped and coloured directly on the DSP. Such a great reminder that DSP is, before all else, paper! And paper LOVES ink ;) Thanks for playing along with us at Sunday Stamps this week.
