Happy Monday, peeps! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend! This is just a quick post with a quick card inspired by some items I saw at Longwood Gardens yesterday! It also uses my sweet friend Dawn Tidd's sketch at Pals Paper Arts:
There were these lovely little soaps all wrapped up in black and white botanical prints....I didn't really have any stamps that fit the bill perfectly, but the Tim Holtz florals that I recently got seemed to be a good substitute:
I added some embossing, gingham ribbon and a sentiment from Watercolor Wishes:
It's nice to just do black and white....clean and fresh!
Yesterday, I had the privilege of meeting one of our Paper Players guest designers in person: Colleen Begley! We had lunch then spent a beautiful afternoon at Longwood Gardens....aren't those flowers in the background gorgeous?! She traveled all the way from California to Delaware and I couldn't pass up the opportunity to meet her!
Enjoy your day!

Love your black and white card LeAnne and the photo of you and Colleen - how nice you two got to do lunch yesterday! Those flowers are amazing too.
Longwood Gardens is a great place to share with friends! Lots of inspiration for cards, too. Love the card you came up with.
What's better than black and white?! I love the DP you stamped and the b/w gingham ribbon, plus the embossed dots in the background...you got all my faves on this one , LeAnne! Thanks for joining us at the PPA this week and for using my sketch. I think it's great that you were able to meet up with Colleen and those gardens look beautiful!
You are just adorable! How nice to meet one of your friend at such a magical place! Breathtaking beauty!
Beautiful card. Love the black and white color scheme and pretty stamped flowers.
Great photo of you and Colleen. How nice to be able to meet blogging friends in person and such a beautiful spot.
Fabulous black and white card!
It's so fun to get to meet a blog buddy.
Love the card - but LeAnne the amazing thing today is your meeting and the gorgeous gardens! TFS... Barb
Love this black and white with the bit of blue flowers. Have not used my Tim Holtz flower set like yours but I might just case this card and make a bunch...all different with the 5 flowers in that set. I have four bags of lilies to plant that look just like those in the garden behind you. so beautiful. TFS Hugs, Martha
Love the black and white combo and that sweet gingham ribbon!! So fun meeting blogging friends in person! And what a great place for the two of you to visit!
What a stunning black and white creation LeAnne, and it looks very much like the shirt you wore to Longwood Gardens! What a great photo, wish I was there too!
Inspiration perfectly used! I am so happy to have had the opportunity to spend the afternoon with you. Hugs!
What a beautiful card and a beautiful place to meet a blogging friend. It's so much fun when a blog-to-blog friend becomes a face-to-face friend.
Leanne, I love your card. A pop of color could also be done on this beautiful, go-with-everything background. And the gardens behind you are gorgeous!
