Paper Players 247

Happy Sunday, peeps!  Time for another Paper Players challenge!!  Laurie is our hostess and since it's the fifth Sunday, we have a fun Tic-Tac-Toe challenge!  Check it out:

I chose the diagonal running from the left bottom to right top to make a 50th anniversary card for my friend Martha:

I used Very Vanilla and Gold Foil for my creation along with some retired floral Cuttlebug folders.  I embellished the flowers with some SU gold sequins and pearls, as well as a little gathering of lace;  I used the retired Timeless Type die set for the numbers and the Scalloped Heart of Hearts Embosslit on which to "frame" them.

The sentiment is 1 Corinthians 13:13 from a retired Cornish Heritage Farms set, and it is stamped in Gold Encore ink.  And for the inside of my card, I stamped the "congrats" from Guy Greetings and added a little gold diecut bell:

And since this has sequins, I am submitting this to the City Crafter Challenge this week, which is sequins!

Happy Anniversary, Martha, and I wish you many more years!

Now, what will you create with this tic-tac-toe challenge?  Be sure to share your creation at the PP blog, and meanwhile check out what the other designers created!

 Enjoy your day!

Well, babies do like to run around naked! Mine did anyway...I remember chasing them around the house trying to catch them after bath time!!!

What an elegant anniversary card (and would work for birthdays as well, right?)!! Love the verse! I was trying to work with the same diagonal pattern but just couldn't make sequins work for my son't card! And why do baby dolls have so many clothes but never wear them? I have always wanted to know the answer to that question! lol

Late with my comments on this one, but my I couldn't not pop by and say just how beautiful this card is! The combination of vanilla and gold, with all the texture and detail and finished with the perfect verse to celebrate an anniversary. I'm sure Martha loved it! As for Cassidy and the naked baby, well they are just super cute!!
