ColourQ258

DSCF5019

Good morning, peeps!  Tuesday again, with another fabulous ColourQ challenge.  Check out this palette, using some of SU’s new In Colors:

SU’s Moonlight mini DSP pad had lots of patterns with these colors in it, so I took my cue from the gray grid paper, mounting it on a Smoky Slate base:

I just pulled out some scraps from the same pad and started making banners of different widths and lengths; I added a piece of silver washi from the All is Calm series, a piece of retired Stitched ribbon, and finally, a leaf diecut with the Autumn Accents Bigz die.  I folded it in half and put it through my crimper, then sponged the ridges:

I did stamp a few more speckles with the Gorgeous Grunge set on the grid paper, too!  The large sentiments from the set Fabulous Four are perfect for cards like this, so I chose the birthday one….I think this will be great for a guy….what do you think?  Hope you’ll play along with us this week….be sure to check out all the samples from our fabulous designers as well!

Enjoy your day!

Once she gets going on that bike, she'll never want to stop;)
Pretty use of banners on this card. I love the crimped leaf too.
PS - How's it going today with Cassidy and her cast. I believe this is the first day she's with you since she got it?
