TSOT178 Birthday

DSCF4310

Happy Wednesday, peeps!  Boy, this week is flying by!  I seem to need a lot of birthday cards this month, so I put the sketch at Try Stampin’ on Tuesday  to use for my card today!  Here’s the sketch:

I did flip it, because I wanted to use a sentiment from the set we got at convention, Amazing Birthday:

LeAnne Pugliese WeeInklings Awesome Birthday Stampin Up Flower Patch

I already had some vellum on my desk from my MM card, so I embossed the sentiment in white and mounted it on top of a pretty floral from the All Abloom DP stack.  I didn’t want to cover up all those flowers!  I added some piercing around my Strawberry Slush frame:

And I finished it off with some sequins and a Daffodil Delight Flower Patch image….it’s the largest flower, and I cut off the outside petals to make it smaller!  Thanks so much for visiting today!

A couple people noticed that Cassidy wasn’t at the birthday party, and that’s right…she was at her daddy’s this past weekend!  But she is here today, eating leftover cupcakes and whatever else she can find, LOL!  Here she is last week, helping wash off the plethora of produce that our garden is spewing out:

And this is only a little bit of it!  Stamping AND gardening in the summer…it’s hard to get it all done!  But I did find a great lemon zucchini bread recipe!  If anyone wants it, let me know and I’ll email it to you!!  Make sure you give me your email address!!!

Beautiful card and love how you put the vellum on and still be able to see the gorgeous paper behind.
Cassidy is growing up so fast. She is getting to be quite the little helper.
Would love to have the recipe for lemon zucchini bread. Thank you

Oh what a beautiful card LeAnne. Don't you just love the All Abloom Papers? I know I do;) The white embossing on the vellum is so pretty and I love that you can still see the paper through it. I'm happy to see you using sequins;) I love using them and sometimes have to stop myself from using them.
You must be so happy to have Cassidy back. She is such a good helper isn't she. That is a beautiful bunch of zucchini.

Oh wow, your card is so bright and cheery LeAnne. Glad your garden is doing so well. We need some warm weather to get the tomatoes turning. Cassidy is really growing up isn't she? Have a good day and hope you are getting some rest.

I love the card. It's perfect for a summer birthday. I have to use vellum more often.
You are so lucky to be getting produce from the garden, ours seems to be stunted this year, or the bunnies ate it. I'd love the lemon zucchini bread recipe.

Beautiful card w/ wonderful colors! I love how you embossed on the vellum. I've been wanting to try that, but am worried I'll warp the vellum. You're pictures make me miss my garden. We moved to the desert recently & now I can't even keep basil alive. Sigh... Oh, and happy Birthday!! I entered the Merry Monday "Birthday" challenge in your honor!

I'll take that lemon zucchini bread recipe, please!! Just cut three HUGE zukes off my vine the other day. I think they might be Eight Ball variety. The plant just showed up in my garden bed, like a miracle (probably from a bird), and is about 10 or 12 feet across!
