Happy Thursday, peeps!  My sister asked me to make her a wedding card for my niece, and her colors are pink and gold, so I pulled out some beautiful Graphic 45 paper I just got, and used it with the Freshly Made Sketches sketch for this week, created by Karren:
I struggled with this card; I think I should have left the gold panel plain instead of adding the gold embossing, but I hope she likes it anyway!!!

I did a little stamping on the Pink Pirouette card base with Versamark and the swirl from Everything Eleanor; the gold embossed floral is a SAB set from last year, Fresh Vintage, stamped on Brushed Gold cardstock; the embossed sentiment is from the retired set Fabulous Phrases, punched out with the jewelry tag punch:

I added a little SU button and some pink baker’s twine for a little bit of whimsy!  Thanks for visiting!

We picked almost 40 pounds of blueberries in the last three days from our very generous neighbor’s farm.  Cassidy was totally enthralled by the trays of frozen berries:

John and I have a system for washing and drying them; he built a huge wooden tray with mesh on the bottom; he washes them with the hose, then dries them with the air hose from his shop!  I put freezer paper on cookie sheets, lay them out in a single layer with little blocks of wood in each corner and stack them up in the freezer.  Once they’re frozen, we roll up the paper and pour the berries in freezer bags!  Cassidy also thought the little wooden blocks were fun to play with….honestly, these kept her busy the whole entire time I was working in the kitchen:

Of course, she ate (and played with) a few of the frozen berries along the way!!  If you have any questions about my card, shoot me an email!

Such a pretty card! Love the colors. Very interesting to hear about your blueberry freezing system, sounds very efficient! And that's a lot of blueberries!

What a beautiful combination of colors. The card is beautiful. And for the berries - it sure does pay to have the right tools and a system. LOL!

So beautiful, LeAnne! I like the gold panel stamped. :) Nothin' wrong there!

Love your tip on using blocks on the berry sheets. I too freeze mine, though have not been out to a farm yet this year. We'll see if it happens. ;) Takes about 45 minutes to get to Medford, and my girls have come to abhor picking berries. Only their mother enjoys it! It's no fun when kids are complaining the entire time. :(

Oh, I love the gold embossing. It just adds to that vintage feel and remind me I need to make a wedding card! lol I love how Cassidy can keep herself entertained with the littlest things. Proves all these electronics aren't all that! :)

I always enjoy your beautiful cards, but Cassidy steals the show! (in a nice way...). She just gets more and more creative, which is fun to watch. Looks like you'll be enjoying blueberries all winter!

I feel like I've missed so much since I haven't been able to visit for a few days:(
This card is gorgeous. You know I'm a sucker for pink and this vintage collage style card has me smiling. I love the button you've added here too.
What a great system for your blueberries - very ingenious.
