US97

DSCF2903

Happy Wednesday, everyone!  Sadly, I needed another sympathy card, so I relied on this very simple sketch from Unscripted Sketches:

SK 166 US 197

and some older Basic Grey papers:

The papers alone are just gorgeous, so I thought they would be good for this sketch;  I just added a little postage stamp square on which to adhere my chipboard bird, and stamped the sentiment from Blessings from Heaven in Always Artichoke ink.

Thanks for visiting today!

Cassidy is enjoying the new floor in my craft room!

Such a beautiful card LeAnne. You are doing a wonderful job of capturing the age Cassidy is right now.

Love the muted colours on your background papers and your bird adds an elegant touch. A serene sympathy card. x

You have really captured a warm, soothing feeling in your sympathy card. The colors are beautiful and the dove is the perfect, subtle embellishment. Thank you so much for sharing your card with us this week at Unsripted Sketches :)

PS...NICE FLOOR!!! Love the color!

Oh, I'm sorry you needed another sympathy card. This is card so soft and comforting. That paper really is beautiful.
I love your new floor too. Looks so good. So where are you making cards these days if your craft room is in renos?
