Merry Monday 48

DSCF2733

Happy Merry Monday, peeps!  Lesley has a color challenge for our Christmas cards today:

Yikes!  Try as I may, I couldn’t come up with anything for these colors except a snowman….so that’s what I went with:

MM48-LeAnne

I stamped this little guy in Basic Gray, then added a little dry embossing; a little watercoloring; and a lot of glitter!   It also uses the sketch #11  from Fab Friday:

I ended up liking it a lot!

I hope you’ll put on your stocking cap and come up with something fabulous with these colors!!  I know you can do it!  Share it with us over at Always Playing with Paper, and check out what the other Merry Monday stampers have created as well!

Cassidy tried to put on her headband by “self”!  LOL!

Ha, I held off making my card in hopes of see what others put togethers first. I was pleasantly surprised when I found DP that included all the colours. I think your card turned out wonderful, your snowman is adorable and all the texture is fabulous.

You got that orange perfectly, LeAnne! He looks mighty fine! If Cassidy is like our Emmy, she didn't leave the headband on very long!

Cute, cute and cute! I love the way you took charge of that color challenge and masterminded it. The orange is splendidly well done. Hope you had a great time watching Downton last night. I was watching the Super Bowl (wow, what a game - commercials, not so much...). I did tivo Downton tho so I will be watching that very soon!

I know, I know...the colours were a little "un"holiday but I thought they would be pretty together...I was thinking scarves and mittens! Your card is cute! I feel so bad I have no card this week, life was TOO busy!

You did a great job with these quite unusual colors for Christmas. Still not sure what to do with them.

I think you've done a wonderful job with the challenge colours LeAnne! You've really made these colours look like they were meant for Xmas. Your snowman is coloured beautiuflly and I love the added lace - it reminds me of snow caps!
