Paper Players 125 Times Two

DSCF1377

Happy Sunday, peeps!  What a busy weekend!  One more day of our Live Nativity and I can rest my weary bones!  It’s fun seeing all the people come to experience what the real  meaning of Christmas is, though!  For now, though, we have a wonderful color challenge for the Paper Players, courtesy of the talented Nance:

Yummy colors!  And it was difficult not to be influenced by the images in the inspiration box, because I had these cool washi tapes sitting on my desk:

I think I probably went overboard on the neutrals:  vanilla, cream and kraft!  LOL!  I made little faux heart-shaped buttons by gluing together three layers of cardstock, punching the holes with a 1/16” hole punch and “sewing” them on with my white gel pen….the layout is a loose interpretation of the Fall to Layout #219 shown here

This is for a special friend who did something nice for me….she knows who she is!!! Open-mouthed smile

I loved this combo so much, I even made a second card using some fun Cosmo Cricket paper and a retired SU set:

This little Mr Twigster is so cute…..I especially love his little red boots!  I hope you’ll play along with us with this fun color combination!  It doesn’t even have to be a Christmas card…..use your imagination and share it with us at the Paper Players blog, where you can see ALL the creative goodies from our talented design team!!  If you have any questions about my cards….just shoot me an email!

I love this B&W shot of Cassidy with the Christmas tree….I have a similar one of Dana when she was about the same age!

This is super sweet LeAnne! The handmade buttons are awesome, & the washi tape & stitching details are lots of fun. Mr Twigster is very cute too, with his red boots & dusting of glistening snow! :)

oooo - love the black and white picture of Cassidy. How great to have a similar picture of mother and daughter.
Your card is so pretty with the heart buttons and washi tape. I just recently bought a couple of rolls of washi tape, but so far haven't used any. Nice sketch too.
Your second card is fun.
I hope that all has gone well with your Live Nativity......what a wonderful annual tradition to celebrate and share the true meaning of Chrismas with the community.

girl, you are on FIRE! Way more than me, I can't keep it together long enough to get a card made, much less all these fabulous ones! Both are totally adorable! :)
