Baby’s First Christmas Card

DSCF1104-001

One of the ladies who attends my local Curves asked me to make a card for a baby’s first Christmas.  I love doing things like that, so I jumped right on it!  It turns out that the family is Amish, and this baby was actually named for my friend!  She wanted a card with a Christian theme, so I pulled out an older SU set called Madonna and Child,  and went to work:

I heat-embossed the image in Basic Gray and watercolored it in….THEN I remembered, she told me the baby was a girl!!!  So I made another one, almost the same, but in different colors:

She did choose this one, so now I have an extra!  Anyone need a baby’s first Christmas card?  I’ve got one available!!! LOL!  Just let me know by sending me an email!

Speaking of babies, Cassidy is quite enamored with being a mommy to her little baby!  Here she is, all covered up to take a nap, and Cassidy is “reading” to her:

and showing her the pictures:

Love it!  Have a terrific day!  Be sure to stop back tomorrow for the Paper Players challenge!
