First Birthday Cupcake

I had a request to make a baby girl’s first birthday card, and it gave me a chance to use my new Hello Cupcake Pure Innocence stamp that a {sweet} friend recently gave me!  I also managed to incorporate four challenges as well:

• City Crafter Challenge #41 – sewing
• Little Red Wagon Challenge #65 – lace
• My Favorite Things – Sketch Challenge #4
• Wee Memories Challenge #40 – anything goes!

So here we go:

I thoroughly enjoyed making this card!  I got to use some BG Nook & Pantry cupcake paper as well as some other scraps in my pile.  The sentiment was computer generated….a little coloring, a little glitter, some luscious pink satin ribbon, a line of stitching around the edge and a little lace from my sewing stash finished it off!
