Ears to You

DSCF2833

I loved this little trio of bunnies stamp as soon as I saw it in the new Single Stamp flyer from SU!  (You can see them all here!)   I used to it make three thank you cards yesterday!  Here’s one of them:

DSCF2832

I stamped the first three images on a rectangle of Whisper White in Melon Mambo; then I stamped them again in Lucky Limeade and Daffodil Delight, just using scraps and cutting each one out.  I then adhered them to the Melon Mambo-stamped piece, mixing and matching so each one was different!

I also stamped “thanks” from Fabulous Phrases and added a little bunny from Itty Bitties, just for fun!  Thanks for looking today!  Email me if you have any questions!

Valentine Treat Bag

DSCF2794-001
Happy Wednesday!  I actually made something other than a card!!  Amazing!  The Nacho Average Challenge had a pretty color palette:
Nac32
although I didn’t pay attention to the Rose Red and used a few elements of Primrose Petals…..although I don’t think you can tell too much.  Anyhoo, I pulled out a little cello bag from last year and threw on a bunch of embellishments:
DSCF2795
I began by embossing the top with the hearts EF from Adorning Accents, and used the heart-shaped doily from the Artisan Embellishments Kit as a base.  I just kept adding elements until I felt I had enough….well, can you ever really have enough, LOL!?  This also qualifies for Shopping Our Stash Challenge, which is to use your oldest bling!  The little heart-shaped rhinestones are probably some of my oldest, that’s for sure!!!

Most of the stamping is from SU’s retired set, PS: I Love You; I did break out my new Papillion Potpourri and it’s coordinating punch, though!  Sweet!  AND the new pinwheel die!  Now, what should I put in this?  Maybe a big cookie or a few candies?  Hmmmm…I haven’t decided yet!    If you have any questions about any of the products I used here, just shoot me an email!  AND, I just saw Stampin' Royalty's Valentine/Love challenge....so I'll enter that there as well! :D

Miss Cassidy tried alphabet soup for the first time a couple days ago:

ColourQ 175

DSCF2756

Hey, it’s Tuesday, peeps!  Check out this sweet lil’ inspiration photo from Arielle for today’s ColourQ:

What a cute little headband.  I feel cheated….I never, ever had long hair growing up…my mom did not want to deal with it, so I never had any pretty hair bows or clips or headbands.  Now Cassidy gets them all!  I wanted to make a cute little Valentine card with these colors, although I was too lazy to pull out my Pink Passion, so I used Melon Mambo, a close match:

s

I used the Unscripted Sketches from this week, too:

SK 165 US 196

I just thought those little pop caps would be so cute filled with hearts…watcha think?

DSCF2754

I searched my stash for all my “love” stamps, made them into tags, added some twine and embossing…. the sentiment at the top is from PTI!

DSCF2755

I hope you’ll find some lovely inspiration from this photo…..we can’t wait to see what awesome creations you come up with!  Share them with us over at the ColourQ blog…..you’ll find a plethora of sweetness there to inspire you!

Cassidy loves to brush her teeth…actually she mostly likes to eat the toothpaste!  But she knows how to pull out her stool, climb up and brush!

Of course, EVERYTHING is better when you have hot pink cowboy boots to wear!!!

Merry Monday 48

DSCF2733

Happy Merry Monday, peeps!  Lesley has a color challenge for our Christmas cards today:

Yikes!  Try as I may, I couldn’t come up with anything for these colors except a snowman….so that’s what I went with:

MM48-LeAnne

I stamped this little guy in Basic Gray, then added a little dry embossing; a little watercoloring; and a lot of glitter!   It also uses the sketch #11  from Fab Friday:

I ended up liking it a lot!

I hope you’ll put on your stocking cap and come up with something fabulous with these colors!!  I know you can do it!  Share it with us over at Always Playing with Paper, and check out what the other Merry Monday stampers have created as well!

Cassidy tried to put on her headband by “self”!  LOL!

Paper Players 131

DSCF2717

Happy Sunday, everyone!  Are you ready to watch some football?  I will forego the SB for my beloved Downton Abbey…..although we are so close to Baltimore, I am sure I will be cheering on the Ravens at some point during the day!

Nance is our hostess for the Paper Players today, and she wants us to make a sympathy card:

I had been playing around with some beautiful MME papers and they were still on my desk, so I paired them with a pretty Pink Paislee stamp set to make a soft, subtle sympathy card:

PP131-LeAnne

I stamped the collage images in More Mustard and Sahara Sand, and the sentiment from Blessings From Heaven in Primrose Petals.  This also uses the CAS(E) This Sketch sketch #13 for this week:

Since I used this for yesterday’s card also, can you tell how much I love it?!!!   My final little embellishment is a flower I made from some crepe paper, you know, the kind that comes in a roll and you hang it for party decorations?  It was sitting a little bin at my local Habitat for Humanity thrift shop, so I snagged it, thinking I might find a use for it:

DSCF2719

I used two sizes of Blossom Nesties and smooshed it all around a brad from my stash.  Unfortunately, I DO need this card as our retired minister has passed away;  he served the Lord right up until the very end, and I know his family is rejoicing as he is now with Him in heaven!

I hope the others’ cards will inspire you to create something for our Sympathy challenge….you can see them all at the Paper Players blog!

We are working on potty training with a fairly good success rate!  Of course it helps if you are prepared for quick action:

Three Easy CAS Cards

DSCF2709
I had some “puttering” time in my stamp room, so I made a few cards!  This one is for the sketch #237 from Create with Connie & Mary this week:
2012 Create Thursday-017
I had some scraps of Primrose Petals Coredinations paper from a previous project, so I pulled one out to make this little square card:
DSCF2708
The panels are canvas; I first stamped the French script from French Foliage in Crumb Cake, then the floral image from Creative Elements right over top.  I added some swirls and butterflies…..which were stamped in Versamark ink and then dabbed with pastels…..remember that technique?  Poppin’ Pastels?!  I love the effect on this paper:
DSCF2712
Finally, I added a ribbon and half a banner with a sentiment from Fabulous Phrases and an image from Itty Bitties.
My next was using the CAS(E) This Sketch #13:
This is one of those cards where I let the paper do ALL the work!  No stamping at all:
DSCF2729
Just LOVE these MME papers!  And finally, using some scraps from the same papers, I snagged the LIM sketch from last week":
DSCF2714
This one does have a bit of stamping on it, as well as a little glimmer paper scalloped heart…..easy peasy
!  I am also entering this in the Addicted to CAS challenge #5, which is to use a heart!

In an effort to begin Cassidy on her potty training, I bought her a doll that wets:

PCCCS27 and PS130

DSCF2690-001

Happy February, everyone!  I had fun playing with the Paper Craft Crew Challenge Sketch 27 yesterday:

PCCCS027-Sketch

I used some new spring mini and SAB goodies to make this:

DSCF2690

These will be going to the top sellers in my downline!  All DPs are from Sunshine and Sprinkles;  image and sentiment are from Patterned Occasions; and the hearts are from Itty Bitties  I added a couple of paper buttons and some stitched ribbon behind my embossed oval frame, and I am done!  This also qualifies for the Papercraft Star Frame Challenge 130:
