Slow as Molasses

I cannot seem to make any progress on my new samples---I have been getting ready for a couple clubs and some church stamping activities, so I guess that is where my stampin' time has been going!  I did manage to finish a couple before my first club tonight.  Of course, all the time I spend on the computer looking at others' blogs could possibly be another reason!  But there are so many cool things out there!  I found a wonderful blog, Rose's World,  and really fell in love with this card, so I decided to case it.  Mine is a tad bit different--I really prefer the colors in hers, but wanted to use some more of the Sweet Always DP:

I used the colors in the DP, and the Pink Pirouette is just a little too light.  But it is still a fun card.  It uses the SAB set Polka Dot Punches (the only SAB I own--can you tell?)

The other is another using the Parisian Breeze Specialty paper, and is a similar layout to one of my sympathy cards:

I seem to be needing a lot of get well cards lately, so I am making good use of the Always in my Thoughts set.  The cute little button is from the new Buttons Latte set!  TFL!

Absolutely LOVEly cards LeAnne! And THANK U SO MUCH for the Get Well card you sent me! It's gorgeous and I especially love the designer paper and scalloped edge. I have to agree with you about not wanted to write in such a pretty card. Heck, sometimes I don't even want to give them away! :)
Thanks again for thinking of me...your card really made me SMILE! Hugs, Pam :)

LeAnne, if I ever get sick, PROMISE me that you will send me THAT get well card.

I wasn't being too pushy was I?

No. I DEMAND that you send me THAT card......

Now that might have been a wee bit pushy. . . .
