Kraft Journal 150

DSCF9510-001

Happy Friday, peeps!  The Kraft Journal’s challenge this week is holiday gifts!  I needed a couple of quick, easy gifts for Cassidy’s teachers at the Bible study I attend.  I already had some candy, so I made some quick little Crumb Cake toppers with my Big Shot and Top Note die, then decorated them with some gingham stamping and  vintage digital images, then added a couple little stamped sentiments:

I had tried to find some vintage Nativity scenes, but wasn’t having any luck, so I used children….since they take care of them so well!  And here’s another little gift holder, made from a toilet paper roll and decorated with some Tim Holtz papers:

Oh my, these are so fun to make!  They are great for candy or cash!

We had an unusual snow on Sunday…the weatherman predicted 1-3” and we got over 6” of wet, sloshy snow!  Cassidy tried sledding on Monday, although we didn’t have the right boots and no snow pants!  She was more interested in pulling Grampy on the sled than going on it herself!

We’ve got boots now….but finding snowpants around here is a bit more difficult!  We haven’t had snow for a couple of years, so I guess the stores just don’t sell them!

Enjoy your day….if you have any questions about my projects, just shoot me an email….if you leave a comment and sign in as anonymous, I can’t answer it!  Toodles!

Although I soooo look forward to seeing your blog every morning, I rarely post a comment; I figure you've got enough to do w/o having to take the time to read another one. However, I wanted to tell you [as I'm sure lots of readers do] how much I enjoy your creations. Your craft room must be HUGE, full of not only SU items, but every other company that I love and many that I've never heard of. AND all those vintage images bring back a simpler time, just as they are meant to; you must have to buy ink for your printer monthly! Keep those darling pictures of Cassidy coming and have a blessed Christmas!

Those are the sweetest gifts! The images are wonderful.
There are tons of snow pants here. I could even get the at St Vinnie's. I you need some let me know I can pick you up some. Is the snow still there? Our snow comes in December and stays until March.
