SSC392 Sunflower Thanks

Happy Tuesday, peeps!  I have a quick card for you today using the new Sunflower Fields, Wood Grain Wonder and In Color Gingham papers! It also uses the sketch from Sunday Stamps:

Here we go:

The papers did all the heavy lifting on this card; there's a wee bit of stamping on a little woodgrain tag, and I added another Golden Glow tag behind it for fun, tying them together with some new gingham ribbon:

This was a great sketch and it was fun to use some new goodies!

Dana, Wayne & Cassidy went to Atlanta a couple weekends ago to see some AAU girl's basketball games; Cassidy follows several of the players, so she was quite excited.  It was actually her Christmas present and the original plans got canceled because of weather, so she had been very patient while waiting. And big surprise.....Shaquille O'Neal was sitting a few seats away:

Here's Dana trying to high-five him.  This guy is BIG!

Needless to say, Cassidy's Christmas gift was one she won't soon forget!  Thanks for popping in today!  Enjoy it and be blessed!

FMS741 Little Note of Thanks

Happy Thursday, all!  I needed a few more thank you cards and the FMS sketch gave me a great layout to make some quick, easy CAS ones!
I still had Bloom Boutique out on my desk, and I loved Michele's postage stamp design, so instead of stenciling a design, I just used some of the patterns as my "stamp":

I mounted those pretty patterns on a piece of Basic White embossed with the Lazy Daisy embossing folder, and added a tag with some pretty Crisp Cantaloupe ribbon.  I just loved this color when it first came out and I still love it!  The only other addition is a gold Festive Pearl!

Easy peasy!  Thanks for popping in today!  Enjoy it and be blessed!

CASC&S585 Sending Love

Happy Wednesday, peeps!  A very quick card today for the the CAS Colours & Sketches sketch, which is here:

I have been playing with the Product of the Month from a month or so ago called Notes of Spring; I paired it with some Craft Consortium papers and a sentiment from Prayers and Promises:

I cut the printed paper with the Stitched Rectangle die and added a Gray Granite mat.  The deer outline was also stamped in Gray Granite and the inner portion was Crumb Cake:

I added a stitched strip of white for the diagonal portion so as not to detract from the pretty papers.  Here's the inside:

I love these neutral colors! Thanks for popping in today! Enjoy it and be blessed!

AYSI369 Happy Birthday Sundae

Happy Friday, everyone! Hope you have some fun plans this weekend!  It's time for a new As You See It Challenge, and it's a lovely color challenge:

I love the Easter egg cookies in this basket, but I am pretty much done my Easter cards, so I chose another bunny to go with my pastel colors!  Here we go:

Since the Just Add Ink challenge this week is to add stripes, I stamped the bottom left corner with the Painted Stripes stamp in Soft Sea Foam, then added a little Soft Sea Foam strip, diecut with a Wonky Stitched Frame die from My Favorite Things.  Then I stamped my little ice-cream-sundae-eating bunny in Versafine ink and watercolored him in with Pretty in Pink and Pool Party inks:

The sentiment is from the new Notes of Spring stamp set, available only in March!  Love that font!  A little Waffleflower birthday sentiment went on the inside, with a little background stamping from Label Me Bold:

These colors are sweet for any spring occasion!  I hope you'll be inspired by them and come create with us at As You See It!  Thanks for popping in today!  Enjoy it and be blessed!
