Happy Sunday, peeps! Hard to believe that tomorrow is December 1! Yikes! I feel like November went by too quickly! Anyway, Jaydee is our hostess at the Paper Players this week, and she has a tic-tac-toe challenge for us! Always love them! Here you go:
Oh boy, I had so much fun making this card! I chose the bottom horizontal line for my tic-tac-toe! What do you think:
This little polar bear image is an oldie from My Favorite Things called Cool Yule! I cut him out and paper pieced his scarf with a DSP scrap, then added a little shading with my Soft Sky marker. I sat him plop in the middle of snowbank, diecut with the Stitched Hillside die from Lawn Fawn! I added a felt tree, some sequin ornaments and a little glimmer paper star!
My Soft Sky card base is embossed with a Sissix EF called Christmas Words and Dots….the dots look just like falling snow, don’t you think? My outside sentiment is from Lil’ Inker, and the inside sentiment is from the Cool Yule set, both stamped in Old Olive ink!
The design team has some fabulous creations based on their own tic-tac-toe combinations! Won’t you check them out?
Thanks for visiting today!
Cassidy wanted to build a snowman (now you all probably have that song in your heads) but we really didn’t have that much snow on the ground! But we did have some on the patio table, so Grammy went to work:
Cassidy did get the sticks for the arms; I had to steal a carrot from Grampy’s lunch for his nose, and I added a little hand-knit hat I made for one of her dolls. By the time we were done, she was ready to come in:
It was pretty nasty out there, LOL! Enjoy your day!
