Happy Sunday, peeps! It's time for another Paper Players challenge, and it's tic-tac-toe week! Check out these fun options:
I chose the first row across, diecut, banner and birthday, and I happened to find a perfect sketch for it at Match the Sketch:
The Delightful Daisy DSP selection has some gorgeous florals, and since I know my friend likes flowers, this particular piece was perfect!
I used a few scraps from some other DSPs, including a piece of solid Old Olive, to make my banners; stamped the sentiments from Happy Birthday Gorgeous; added a little Wisteria Wonder scalloped mat and a Crisp Cantaloupe baker's twine bow, and it was done!
And I had to do some fun stamping on the inside too:
The DT has come up with some awesome samples; I hope you'll stop by the Paper Players' blog to check them out. While you're there, show us your tic-tac-toe creation! Can't wait to see them!
Laurie--off this week
A friend gave us three blackberry bushes back in 2014 and they are just finally beginning to produce fruit:
Some of the berries are enormous!!!
But they are the most sour berries I've ever eaten! I don't know if it's the soil, the type of berries or what....they need a load of sugar to make them palatable! If anyone has any ideas about how to grow them sweeter, let me know! But this little guy must have thought they were okay:
You never know what you'll find in a garden!! Thanks for popping by today...enjoy it and be blessed!

Beautiful card. Love the papers and colors.
What a beautiful card and I love your pattern paper choice
Beautiful card! I love everything you make and really enjoy your postings.
I have found that the blackberries I've tried this summer are sour too, I always thought they were a sweet fruit, but I must be wrong on that one! :)
Hi LeAnne,
Couldn't miss commenting on this pretty pretty card. The colors are gorgeous! You did a fantastic job incorporating the elements of the tic tac toe and the sketch.
Goodness, Cassidy is growing up so fast!
Good luck with the berries.
Love your bright and cheery card LeAnne - your banners compliment your florals perfectly! Your blackberry is a whopper - I think the taste is generally down to the variety in my experience, but my advice would be serve with apples and plenty of sugar - blackberry and apple crumble is one of my favourite puddings!
Such a delightfully fresh birthday card, LeAnne. The mix of patterns and florals is chock full of homespun charm. Lovely card and fabulous use of the sketch!
That floral paper is as sweet as can be. This is a delightful card LeAnne!
Cute card! That is an enormous berry but we had some lately that I'd bought and they were sour too. Not sure how you can grow them sweeter unfortunately.
As always, LeAnne you are so great at combining patterns together so they look wonderful. The twine is just a perfect finishing touch.
Very beautiful card!
Claudia
Pretty card LeAnne! I asked my two daughters that have blackberry bushes and they said more water for sweeter berries. :D

Thanks for playing with us again at Match the Sketch! I love the fresh colors of your card!
LeAnne, such a pretty floral card and I really like the layout. Wish I could help with knowing how to sweeten the berries. I've never grown them - just rip out the ones that keep creeping under my fence from the neighbors!
Such a pretty card, LeAnne. I love the patterned paper and color combo. And those berries, wow! Sorry, I have no gardening advice but I bet they will make amazing pies and jam!
LeAnne, this is such a beautiful floral creation! I love the mix of patterns and the layout is perfect! WOW! That blackberry is huge! I love blackberries! I would love some cobbler! Cassidy is so pretty! I enjoy her photos! XX
LeAnne, I love all those gorgeous patterned papers together and the lilac sentiment and scalloped mat. What a wonderful, girly, birthday card. I love it! Sorry I cannot offer you any advice on growing sweeter blackberries!
hugs
Jaydee
These colours are gorgeous together! I buy my blackberries from the store, so I have zero tips :)
