Happy Sunday, stamping friends! Claire, whose love for color matches her vibrant personality, is our Paper Players hostess today with a bright, vivid color challenge:
I thought these colors would be good for a birthday card, so that's what I did! Here we go:
My final addition was some glimmer paper hearts; each gift was embellished with one in a matching shade (although the Mambo one looks really purple in my photo!) and a little white heart in the center just to jazz it up a bit!
SO....what will you create with these colors? The Design Team really stepped up to the plate on this one; the cards they created are really spectacular! Be sure to hope over to the Paper Players to check them out, then come along and play with us!
So yesterday was the yearly cleaning of the chandelier globes at our church. A group of us do the washing and drying (very carefully) after the guys take the globes off, take the bulbs out, then put new bulbs in and put the clean globes back on. It's a painstaking process, and not for someone who has acrophobia!

I agree with you, LeAnne. Those are fun colors for a birthday - and who wouldn't want to receive 4 presents?
I shiver every year when you share those photos of the cleaning. Looks like they have it under control and down to a science.
Such a bright and fun celebratory card using those great colors! I get nervous just looking at the photo of that ladder!
This is a happy birthday card and so cute! Gives me the willies seeing John up there, but it looks like they have it down to a science!
What a bright and cheery birthday card, LeAnne! The present image and the candles are perfect for showing off Claire's colors. Oh my gosh...changing out the bulbs and removing the globes are not for the faint of heart! Thank goodness it takes place only once a year. Have a wonderful week!
These are perfect birthday colours as they are so bright and fun! I love those little present stamps and the addition of the glimmery hearts makes them even nicer. I would not be volunteering to climb those ladders for anyone!
Cute way to use Claire's colors, LeAnne! Love those little presents and the sparkly hearts. I've seen the photos of prior year's cleaning of the chandelier globes and it always makes my heart pound. Thank goodness there are people that can do what they do!
Delightful birthday card! And you have a very calm and steady husband!
I'm loving these bright colours on your gifts LeAnne and the sparkly hearts are the perfect finishing touch! I'm not sure I'd be up for that ladder climb - good job you are in John's capable hands for this cleaning activity!
Look at all those pretty little gifts! I love how you used my colors and those shiny hearts steal the show! I love this embossing folder, too! I think I need it! LOL! I would be a nervous wreck if I saw those men on the ladder! I am having trees trimmed today and I can't watch! Thank you for making my colors shine!
LeAnne... I am admiring the guy on the ladder... very gutsy! Love the added bit of glitter on your card... really makes the presents pop.
